Looking at our thematic table, we can see some stark differences between the various Ark funds we track.
On one hand, the Ark Robotics ETF $ARKQ is at the top of the list, while the Ark Internet ETF $ARKW finds itself at the bottom of the list.
The reason is simple; robotics are more closely aligned with hardware while the internet is more aligned with software which has been hit the hardest in this market.
It's yet another good reminder to be wary of the external drivers impacting the performance of these ETFs.
