π New Zealand Hits All Time Highs
π Daily ETF Overview
We always start the week with a top down view of what's happening in the global markets.
For the last 18 months, there have been growing opportunities abroad with many markets outside the U.S. outperforming the S&P 500.
Another one that could potentially be added to that list is New Zealand which is completing a major trend reversal.
And priced in New Zealand Dollars, the local NZX 50 index which tracks the largest 50 companies in New Zealand just hit an all time high.
New Zealand has a large weighting toward more defensive sectors and is a market that favors income producing dividend paying stocks. As a result, this market tends to experience very shallow volatility priced in local currency.
After doing nothing for more than five years, it looks like New Zealand looks ready to join the global bull market.
Before we close, we have a message here that if you've got a job and can't babysit a screen all day to catch these moves, most trading services aren't built for you.
