Tesla is the stock everyone loves to hate and hates to love.
After five years of going nowhere, the rallies and selloffs inside this massive range have had plenty of time to reset sentiment, exhaust investors, and shift everyone’s attention toward Elon’s newest shiny object, SpaceX.
The market is designed to fool the greatest number of people. And right now, almost no one appears prepared for the possibility that the old Tesla is finally ready to break out. Here it is:
Tesla Inc $TSLA is currently exhibiting a squeeze score of 94.5 and a long-term squeeze score of 97.
Here’s what the chart looks like:
Tesla is on the cusp of completing a multi-year base. Price is testing the all-time high VWAP, which coincides with a key polarity shelf extending back to the prior cycle highs.
Meanwhile, volatility on the weekly Strazza Indicator has been compressing for the past 18 months and is now sitting near the lower end of its historical range.
A decisive breakout, supported by momentum expansion, would provide strong evidence that this base is complete and a leg up cycle is underway.
