The Bull Market’s Next Steps

Bull Markets move in phases.

They follow a process that, over time, you can actually quantify by studying price, breadth and market-regime tools.

And over the last three weeks, we’ve watched that entire process unfold.

The three phases we just lived through:

• Shake N Bake – stocks on the verge of breakdowns, breadth washes out, then rips higher. The initiation.

• Consolidation – quiet chop under overhead supply. Patience required. Pressure builds.

• Continuation – new highs expanding, strength broadening, the average stock hitting new highs. 

This is the fun part, where the patience pays off and we look like geniuses when it’s really just a Bull Market doing what Bull Markets do.
