Programming Notes, Golf Research

No Members Only Options video with Sean yesterday. I'm somewhat unexpectedly out of the office most of this week. As always, any trades will be posted and sent to paying members.

The Portfolio we have is working just fine. The airline puts we shorted last week went to zero. No need to force anything right now. Slow summers are when we do homework and let the positions cook. I'll never withhold a great idea bc my video is on the fritz.

As I told one of my favorite readers yesterday, I'm spending the week packing up the house and moving. The new place is only 10 miles away from where I am right now. The cultural adjustment will be manageable. And when I say "I'm packing and moving" I mean "I'm paying people I know and work with regularly to pack up my stuff and move it for me". The physical and time demands are minimal. Professional movers are a bargain. Tip generously.

Research:

The Summer of Sport is coming to a close with the British Open starting today. Never forget Watching Golf is Work. This is big business. Sponsors, gear, buzz. It adds up. There are entire fashion menus for the golfers this week. If it rains, Jason Day is going to dress like a full-on duck hunter for Malbon, which just raised $25 million and somehow convinced Jason Day to wear whatever Malbon says, no matter what. He once had a sweater banned by the Masters halfway through a round.

We'll see how the duck hunter outfit goes. (Not pictured below. That's a different Duck outfit the Masters pre-banned a couple years ago.
